Carl is a Cognitive Science (Design & Interaction) student at the University of California, San Diego, joining Immersed Global as an AI Integrations Volunteer on the Research & EdTech Team. He builds full-stack AI applications—including retrieval-augmented chatbots and multi-agent systems using tools like LangChain and LangGraph—and is fascinated by how technology and human-centered design intersect. He's excited to explore how AI can make learning more engaging, scalable, and accessible for the students and communities Immersed Global serves. As an international student, Carl speaks Chinese and English fluently, along with a little Japanese, and he loves working at the meeting point of technology, culture, and education.
