What is
Immersed Global?
Who We Are:
Immersed Global Communication Cooperative is a collective of educators, creatives, and community advocates working together to reimagine global education. We design and deliver language and cultural immersion programs that make learning joyful, accessible, and identity-affirming for children and families—particularly those from under-resourced communities.
As a cooperative, we combine shared expertise and lived experience to develop bilingual learning tools, virtual immersion programs, and international travel opportunities. Through initiatives like Madame Armant’s Immersion Cities, we bring vibrant, culture-centered programming to neighborhoods across the country—meeting families where they are and connecting them to the world.

Program Coordinator
David Muhammad
David Muhammad serves as the Program Coordinator for Madame Armant’s Immersion Cities. He began his career in Human Services, working with adjudicated youth through local nonprofits and Maryland’s Job Corps in partnership with the Department of Juvenile Services. His early work focused on helping youth access jobs and support services, which led him to participate in local business and political events. There, he built a dynamic network of progressive, equity-driven leaders dedicated to breaking down barriers in education and career access—laying the foundation for a meaningful career in workforce development. David went on to support incarcerated individuals through the Mayor’s Office of Employment Development and later worked under Maryland’s Department of Labor to help citizens access employment, training, and entrepreneurial pathways.
Inspired by his connections with IT professionals and the potential of tech to empower communities, David launched DIN (Do It Now) IT Enterprises in 2015. What began as a consulting service evolved into a broader mission—offering technical support to businesses and nonprofits alike. By 2018, his company partnered with Comcast Business to deliver on-demand IT workforce services across multiple states. Today, through DIN Enterprises, David provides essential tech infrastructure for Immersed Global and supports digital solutions for community development initiatives. His leadership bridges social impact, education, and innovation to ensure that programs like Immersion Cities thrive. #GetImmersed
